Successful expirentmen but how about next time NOT centering the goose

Wonderful !!!!!

Good shot, but I would like it more if you crop some space behind a swan and on the bottom. I also think that little more contrast will improve photo.

Regards Darko

Very creative, you could feel the air coming from her wings, cheers-JEFFREY

Hello Toru, this photo has it all;

Beautiful subdued early morning light,
Excellent Shallow DoF and blurred BG from camera panning,
A wonderful portrayal of flight and motion obtained by a slow shutter speed,
A splash of colour on the bird’s head which caught my immediate attention, in an otherwise grey image,
A feeling of serenity from the calm water and bird reflection,
Nice exposure and camera control

One criticism, there is a fine black wedge on the bottom right of the frame, maybe this was caused by straightening the photo? This should have been cropped or cloned out.

Some have commented that the subject is too central in the frame; I think that in this particular photo the subject is placed almost perfectly because to me, the head is an immediate point of focus and almost sits on the intersecting lines of the golden section/harmonic triangle.

I like this photo very much Toru, it is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I have added it to my favourites.

All the best
Wayne
