[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Nearing the end of my "AP Alley" series. Here the woman has finished her cup of tea and is about to put out her cigarette before heading for her evening's chores in the Alley. Soon I will post shots of Japanese children at play.

This one is very nice and moody! Great composition. It almost looks like just a hand with no body attached though. :) I love the cigarette and coffee too. JP

i like the mood in this photo...perfect in b/w, given the date it was taken i guess it was the only choice :P

i'm adding this to my "smoke" theme, hope u don't mind

Hmmm.. This is an interesting shot Thomas! The mood is very intense. I like it :) Nice DOF and PP :)

Take care..

A part of your beautiful serie.
Always the back light giving a kind of nostalgy.

Thomas... this is outstanding. I'm really enjoying this photograph. Very nicely done.

You have used the light and that 50mm to present one of the best shots, imho, I've come across in some time on this site.

Super job on metering and exposing this... I'm curious, what type of film did you use to get the photo?

Again, very nicely done... and I've just added you to *my favorites* to follow your work more closely. I think there is a lot in your images to learn from.

Thanks for sharing.
