No nannies for yuppie moms here. In a couple of years the little one will be working HARD. In Japan, at least when I was there, a child between about two and five could do almost anything it wanted. If it wandered out in the street at 8 PM at night, all other Japanese saw it as their duty to watch out for the child.
Anyway, the mother is harvesting rapeseed [mustard seed] and the little tyke wants to know why I'm taking her picture. I have several of this little girl, and posted one of her sitting on a wagon with her brother the other day. |

Your photo is striking and powerful. Everybody thinks that Japan does not have problems like this...
Good capture and b&w was a good choice as well.

Wow. Another classic photo. I don't know what to say anymore. :) They are all good and classic looking to me. The mother looks tired and the girl a little scared. I like the emotions in this one. Very nice. JP
