Sitting in silence

Hello.
Taken in Kyoto,Japan.
A partial view of the eastern garden of Chishaku-in temple.
A wonderful place with relaxing atmosphere where it was possible to hear the little waterfall and the flying crows.
Many Japanese gardens are built in order to be viewed from the structure with the pillars as a "natural" frame.
Thanks for viewing.

Nice, Francesco. I like the subject and the composition. My obly quibble is that I think I see artifacts from too much of an increase in saturation, especially on the floor, both the tatami and the exterior wood. There may also be a bit too much sharpening visible on the plants outside. So maybe just back those off a notch. Otherwise, very nice and calming.

This is really lovely. I would love to be sitting there admiring the view. Japan is pretty much top of the list of places to visit... if only I were a millionaire!
Thanks for sharing. jx
Hi Francesco. Is it OS or was it the light? A delightful calming image. The Japanese take so much pride in creating these gardens. Lovely textures and colours. A workshop if I may and TFS,
David
Beautiful! It looks the same as many years ago! Used to be my favorite Japanese garden. Good title!
