Houryuu-ji house are the world's oldest surviving wooden structures, conveying images of Japan as it existed more than 1,300 years ago, during the Asuka Period (A.D.mid 6th-beginning of 8th c.). The front building is called Kon-Dou, and rear ones is called Gojyuu-no-Tou. There was registered a world heritage in 1993 first in Japan.

Hi!Mikio,this building is so beautiful and artistic.It's good landmark for photographing.It would be better if you take this shot around "Magic Moment"(before sunrise or immediate after sunset)then you would have dramatic blue sky instead of plain white sky which is less interesting.Keep on trying "Kam Bah Te".
