Hi!
Taken in Asakusa-Tokyo. This is the Kaminari-Mon (the gate of thunder) which is the gate to the famous Senso-ji temple.
Resized,partially desaturated, framed,added sharpness.
Thanks, Francesco |

Good to see you posting again, Franscesco, as we have not seen you in quite a long time. Very nicely done with the partial desaturation and I like this very busy Japanese scene. Interesting to try to observe the expression on all of the faces of the people you have captured. Well done!
Excellent use of post-processing! Love how the red lantern is the focal point of the composition while not totally distracting from the surrounding bustling scene. Very sharp and good use of lighting.

A good street scene, helped with the partial de-saturation. The urban context is well preserved. Maybe a bit over-sharpened? A nice post from you, Francesco.

Hello Francesco,
excellent idea!
It's difficult to take an original picture of kaminari-Mon but you make it!
Bravo!
Marc.
You did it again... BW and partial colour!!! FULL COLOUR please. Only joking Francesco, excellent PP work. A busy scen well composed and looking at the damp ground probably a wise move to desaturate. Well done and TFS,
David
