| Cosplayer at the Harajuku Station in the Shibuya ward of Tokyo. If you are interested, Wikipedia provides plenty of information regarding this mostly Japanese subculture and the location. To no surprise, it is quite an attraction for tourists and photographers, and it is mentioned in most travel guides. Mine was saying something like "cosplay often provides youths with a virtual world where they can escape school related stress and bullying". I could see how this might be true… |

I like the light in this one and the focus is great once again...but I'm not too fond of the dead on composition or the low pov.
I love this shot.
There is something so eclectic about the costume, the cellphone, the girl herself. While her placement in the frame could be a little better, the light you've captured is great, diffuse with nice rim-light effect from the right. The girl herself is makes-you-smile cute and the intensity of her expression and pose is delightful.
I'm bugged by the chopped feet/bags at the bottom but overall this is a cool, offbeat shot that probably deserved a more open minded viewership than TL's.
