The Okonomiyaki Maker

(From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)
Okonomiyaki (お好み焼き) is a Japanese dish consisting of a pan-fried batter cake and various ingredients. Okonomi means "what you like" or "what you want", and yaki means "grilled" or "cooked" (cf. yakitori and yakisoba); thus, the name of this dish means "cook what you like". In Japan, okonomiyaki is mainly associated with Kansai or Hiroshima areas, but is widely available throughout the country. Toppings and batters tend to vary according to region. |

Hi Marc,
Photography and food are both passions of mine, and you have nicely put together both of them for me on Saturday! I like the pov you have chosen as I'm right there and can practically smell the food (Now, I'm hungry). I also like how it shows other food preparations leading towards the back of the frame and beyond. The sharpness, lighting, and of course the composition is great. Looks like a fun event to attend when you are ready for lunch or dinner.
Nice simple uncomplicated frame too.
off to breakfast now.... :D
