Hi friends,

This is for you all,but especialy for Lucio(Redrubin)

This is a summer version because:
For backgorund I've use a yukata
And the tea it was cold :)
I did't use any artificial light...just the dining room light and my husband hold a mirrow for more lighting.:)
So what do we have here?
We have ama-ebi sushi(lobster,in the middle),ikura(salmon roe ),makizushi(the two roll's),maguro(tuna,the red one),ika(cuttlefish,the white one),tamago(egg)
Itadakimasu!!!(said before meals)

Hi Sabina - it's certainly an interesting shot with a nice note to go with it. The composition works well and the colours are strong.

My only problem is that the image isn't sharp enough and we lose some definition - for example in the grains of rice in the makizushi. Without the exif data i can't say what the problem is, but perhaps the shutterspeed too slow leading to slight blurring?

That's a pretty nice image, very nicely composed. Not the type of picture I'd usually comment on, but it did catch my eye... One observation, ama-ebi sushi stands for shrimp, not lobster: lobsters are the big beasts. I was somewhat disappointed a few years ago to find out that sushi isn't any different or better in Japan than it is in these parts of the world. Not that it wouldn't be very good here, because it is, but I expected it to be so much more special in Japan. The sharpness is not the best, and the light falls a bit flat despite the efforts. The background is very pretty, but in the same time too heavy for such light food as sushi. A bit overwhelming for your subject.

Hello Sabina
mmmm.... look so tasty, so delicious, I love sushi but i tasted only here in Poland so I'm sure it's not so wonderful like in Japan, Your photo is really good, great sharpness and colours,
