I like the composition of the photo... the negative space to the left added to photo... the sharpness of the boys eyes... well done... TFS

Your photo is really good. The shallow DOF of the f/2.8 is perfect for letting through impression of softness and smoothness of baby skin. The sharp focus on the eye closer to the camera allows the viewer to connect to the child personality. I also like that you didn't show clothing and the lighting is great. Overall this is a really good portrait. Sorry, I cannot really find any useful critic. But if I were to be really picky maybe I would suggest trying this without the toy.

Very beautiful portrait of this cute youngster. I love the shallow DOF effect utilized here that still retains sharpness of the right eye which makes an excellent focal point and the neutral BG provides good contrast without being distracting. A photographers note would have been helpful but I'm splitting hairs here as it is hard to fault this picture. Well done and thanks for sharing.
