Hello.
It's a view of the Kinkakuji. The shot was taken from the lower part of the temple complex near the pond where you find a constant struggle of hundreds of tourists to obtain the best spot for the best shot!
The original building dates back to 1397 and was a retirement villa for shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu.Later, according to his whishes, the villa was converted into a temple. This is a reconstruction of 1955 because the original structure was burnt down in 1950 by a young monk ( read MISHIMA YUKIO's novel "the golden pavillion" )
This is a scanned photo-March '99-traditional film camera Olympus MiuII.
PP scan,crop,resize,B/W,colour filters,saturation,sharpness in a few parts,blur in others,NeatImage
I'll post as WORKSHOP the paper photo I started from

Hello Francesco, I love this. The structure, the composition and the light is great. I would have probably reduced a bit the yellow tone...But you know, it is just a question of taste here. Great work! Like your note also. Marie-José

Nice capture, i like this sepia photo!

Toning is very nice but I think I would crop the sky to get rid of the branches hanging down, it makes for a stronger picture. If you hold a piece of paper over your monitor to hide the branches you will see what I mean.

Hola Francesco. Felicitaciones.

Hi Francesco, took a look at the original and in my opinion you overdid the picture on PP a little , using neat image is good but not to much , the details are almost gone and the picture looks to flat..I used your original to work with and made a ws explaining how I would present this picture ...
Happy New Year !!
