Swaddee Krub Everybody,
This is my contribution for this week Friday Theme 2008/12/12 "Parallel" B&W
4th day in luang Prabang,I still love to walk and took a photo in this lovely town.Today,I'd catch the morning light in wat Xiang Thong and in the afternoon I came to this place, wat Visounnarath, that had a reputation of not only tai-lueng style temple but also the rows of wooden buddha statue that store behide the main buddha statue. In many book of luang prabang had this classic POV that impressed me everytime when I saw. When I saw the real place that made me so impressed and took a lot of shot for this long awaiting(for me). When I convert many shot from luang prabang to B&W,I found this shot of the row of buddha with light from the back had made more suitable for this theme.
For Post Process : Firstly,I adjust the composition by cropping in lightroom and transfer to PS cs2 to the next process.Secondly,I duplicate layer and convert to B&W with channel mixer tool by adjust the blue and red channel to strong tone.Thirdly,I add more contrast and sharpen. Finally, resize and framing to finish.
For further information : The useful information for Wat Visounnarath and the useful information for peaceful Luang Prabang |

Hello Prapat you saw the dark and light play in the room very well, good and keen picture!

Evocative light and atmosphere, the brightness spilling around the forms of the statues is very eyecatching. A location full of atmosphere.
I like the composition, the containment of the statues along one side of the frame.
