The once a month, lunar fest is this day at the temple, I have wandered into. The women invited me to eat, but I did not understand that is what they meant. (So I missed out on GOOD food). The women cooked many treats, bought sweets, fruits, donated money, and also bamboo containers of sticky rice to celebrate the new moon. The monks were really excited to receive this gift of food and money. It is a break from their daily round of alms, twice a day to collect food from the local people. (Sorry about quality, my pictures were reduced from 8 megapixels to 1mg by the man who wrote them to cd in his cyber store. He also ruined my computer, and all the pictures in it...... "He didn't know they were important")

Conratulations on your 100th on TL, Gloria. It is totally out of focus, but never mind, with your shots the faraway atmosphere comes across nevertheless. Sorry to read you had another mishap. They haunt you it seems.
