| Many different animals are eaten in Laos. Here along the Mekong river many food venders set up shop each night. This skin was hanging from a tree with the food venders, next to the sidewalk. Later in the day, this will be solid venders and tables. The meat might have been a snack that night. I am guessing either the skin advertised the food, or was for sale itself. It is really a great place to sit along the river and eat the delicious food they cook, (cheap too). The sun sets on the Mekong river, in brillant oranges, pinks and reds. |
