A lovely documentary-style shot, Jan - an everyday-life capture of the cyclist combined with the stunninbg natural beauty of Laos. The birds rippling the water and the boy looking towards them are great touches. Lovely shot!

I like the clouds/mist in the distance by the mountains. The ducks are like an added bonus to this shot. Love the colors and POV. Very well done and captured!

A beautiful shot Jan! I really like this.
As a regular visitor to the Philippines I have a certain nostalgia for rice fields and lush, misty tropical climates - since NZ is usually so different from that. This is a 'busy' shot in many ways because there's so much to see - but it's thoroughly relaxing also. Perfect composition, perfect metering, perfect POV and timing.
