this is inside The sim of Wat Xieng Thong;one of tourist deastination in Luangprabang.like every temple but more elegant, every door are carved with golden image of gods or angel.
the interior quite dark ,lit only with candles and dim lightbulbs and light from the doors.
it quite hard work for manage high contrast of light between inside and outside as well as wait for free space from many tourists but i wait this girl come for being real angel :) |

Hi Chandhima
Technically I guess this could be better, but to be honest I like it regardless. I agree - very hard to manage interior and exterior light.
To start, you have managed the sharpness inside, with such a slow shutter, very well. The levels are enough to reveal the intricate detail of carvings but still remain subdued and mysterious.
The doorway, if left blank, would have been a glaring eyesore in the shot because of its overexposure; but your inclusion of somebody entering creates a point of interest.
I think it works!

This kind of light is not easy to handle Chandi, but yoou kept the dark inside mood and details of the golden door very well.

Salut Chandhima.
Une belle image bien composée grâce à une exposition en contre-jour parfait.
Le contraste laisse bien apparaître la belle décoration du mur.
Bonne journée.
