Hi Agoes,

The first thing that struck me from the thumbnail is the brilliant colour of the lotus. Now that I see it in actually size, I noticed those two bees hovering/dancing on the lotus. You did very well in capturing this bro. A very fast shutter speed at low ISO and you still maintained the overall brightness of the photo. I could even see the blur of the flapping wings on one of the bees. Clever composition too with using the lotus pad as a BG for the two bees which provides for a better contrast than the dull coloured water. Excellent job bro!

What do I think? If you have that Canon A640, this would be very good capture of close up. But, I still find your moment of capture to freeze the 2 bees to add feature to this lotus macro.

I do like the light. If only the water tone can be dark!

p/s regarding your comment on the standard or quality, I am puzzled how to interpret the critiques given and I am afraid I am lost somewhere. Just hoping that we all learn something good and useful out of it.

Very nice Agoes. Looks like there is a spotlight on the waterlily. The leaf on the top left breaks provides color and contrast, the flies are a bonus. THere is good sharpness on the flower. Greetings! Danilo

Jelas dan terang warna bunga teratai, dengan keadaan latar yang kabur berwarna hijau dan keruh menampakkan lagi kesan natural atau keadaan alam semulajadinya. This is breathtaking. Lovely sharpness and terrific bokeh on the background. The two hovering insects are just a fantastic extra touch that really put the smile into this shot.
