Hi Folks,

Still toying with my experimental theme of “Food-O-Graphy”.

Somehow I think we have one similarity with the primates – the way we peel a banana.

It’s a high time for a paradigm shift, or for a radical change - if that is more precise. Change the way we peel a banana. Dare to be different from the primates .

How a about twisting a banana cap? If a banana is too big or too long to finish and saving this nutritious fruit is a great idea, what about re-capping for a later consumption.

By doing this you are actually using the cap as a protection and cover to the uneaten part of the banana from dirt and contamination.

Thanking you in advance for viewing and your kind words.

Agoes

Props: a banana (circumcised it), a black velvet for the backdrop, ceiling lights and a tungsten bulb for the side lighting.

LOL like the note
nice lighting

You know, banana is a phallic symbol... with a cap removed the symbolism is even stronger... Be careful in your experimenting :)

Haha, nice idea - and nice execution, nice light, nice sharpness. I'm just not convinced about the composition, everything seems too far placed to the right; the end of the banana has been cropped out of the frame.

Still mate it's an entertaining shot, very creative and great fun!

Hello Agoes,
I like yor series of food-o-graphy very much, your fantasy and imagination resulted unique photos of food. This one was a great idea too, perfectly relized sharp and detailed picture, and the black backgound highlight the subject even more.
I also like your philosophic thoughts about peeling in your note. :)
Great job, my friend! TFS.
Greetings,
Kristof

I've been missing out on these, but what a great series. Very creative and original. I like the black bg bringing out the colors of the banana. Good detail. TFS

Can always count on you for your entertaining commentary Agoes! ... and also creative and imaginative photos. Too bad about the missing end of the banana. Honestly, this is not something that I would have ever noticed before I joined TL, but now I'm far more aware of all the little details.
Great job.

now if you could come up with something for the auto industry.

Hi Agoes:

Great picture. Sharp with excellent details. I like the idea. Will it work?
Regards, Jafar

I do prefer a 'banana split', with lots of icecream over it, haha
But must say as a artistic picture, it looks very tasty aswell.
Great work, Agoes.
Bravo.
Cheers from Jan
