Hi Folks,

Do not give your neck a pain. There is nothing wrong with your screen either. No rule is broken here, not even the law of gravity – as you can see the drips are falling down from the cup. No merger of two photos here.

Everything here is real – the tidbits (a wafer cube, wafer sticks and chocolate chips cookies), tea, teapot and a cup. The cup…..? No. it was NOT glued to the ceiling.

This is a 69, Folks, or upside down - to be more descent. Top and bottom are subjective, depending on perception. In the view of a house lizard and a hanging bat, we humans walk upside down! And humans and animals at the other part of the globe right beneath us also walk upside down!

What I did here…

I used a polystyrene as a base and a backdrop. I placed the cup on the base. I hanged the teapot at the top and pinned the tidbits to the polystyrene. I glued the teapot cover so it will not fall. I used a small aquarium water pump for the tea to flow from a big jug through a hose and out from the teapot nozzle.

So, Folks, they were the teapot and the tidbits at the top of the original frame. No magic was used, just a 180 degree rotation on the PPW……:)

Thanking you in advance for viewing and your kind words.

Agoes

Props: a teapot, a cup, a jug as a reservoir, polystyrene, tidbits, a hose and an aquarium water pump.

hahaha! Excellent experimentation, Agoes - great result, a real "smile raiser". I'm not sure how to critique this, to be honest - technicals irrelevant to me, the result is just great, so I'll stick with the fact that this shows great imagination and great execution. Super posting for TL.

Thanks so much for the notes. I would not have slept a wink without knowing how you did this. I'm still not sure I could duplicate it. Fun, fun, photo! Very creative and imaginative.

I might have to try this one! Very original and fun. Good experiment and great results. TFS

Hi Agoes,

Great graphics.
Well compose, and a nice out-out.
The top edge of the cup is a bit soft tho.
Here is my grain of salt...i think a lighter background would have been nice...as the biscuits, i think they also whould look more efficiant is they were in sharp focus too and on the same plan as the teapot. But that's only an opinion, feel free to disagree.

What a great idea. Excellent planning and technicaL skills. The cookies. Get rid of them and you have a piece of art. The action is between the teapot and the cup. The cookies distract you and weaken the impact of your main objects. Thank you so much for sharing this idea!!

great mind really, You are having so much fun with your experiments and give a great results. I can't do as much, I'm clumsy perhaps before I did I needed a ton of teapot supply. Very funny note...and including your set-up put the viewers at peace on how you did it. REALLY outstanding execution

cheers

Bravo.!!!!!! Applaus.!!!!! Big Trick.!!!!!
Really a fantastic trick, Agoes.
Excellent result. Good for an Art museum.
One critique, the amount of Kilobites is very little and caused some noise.
When you run the picture through Photofliter and just clicked safe, or safe as, a menu popped up and with preview you can adjust the Kb's close to 300.
Click ok and it is as, in the file where you safed it to.
Best wishes and Terima Kasih for this fantastic picture.
Jan

Hello Agoes,

Well conceived and executed. I must admit that I looked at this shot a long time before reading how you did it.

brilliant idea! it's fun to be out of the box especially thinking of concepts. on a technical note, the image is somewhat dull. maybe a little contrast enhancement perhaps.

overall, great job. tfs.

Lucky this is purely photography, or else we will all be in deep trouble if tea can spill this way. Albert Einstein will fail his theory and every physics book must be re-written.

The taikonauts will flunk to the ground and gravity will fail us.

Very entertaining artwork.

Hi Agoes,
great PP work.I liked compo so much. Many thanks for this lovely creative work.TFS.Necla.

Very clever piece of staging to create a picture with great visual impact. This is the sort of shot I love to see on TL because it encourages people to go and try something new, now where did I leave that teapot......
Thanks for sharing
