Terrific shot - and beautifully done, especially with a compact, I couldn't get a shot this good on my SLR.

Good rich detail and texures, beautifully crisp along the edge of that leaf, and the black empty background is a fantastic touch, giving a sense of what the world must look like from the snail's perspective!

I suppose you blurred part of the leaf before the snail, since the snail itself is perfectly sharp and the foreground too.I like all the details of the shot

Haha, love the title Agoes, brilliant.
I remember trying a macro of a snail many years ago, and would you believe it, I got 'speed' blur, they can move those eyes very quickly.
