[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here is a pick from my collection.

Singing song of loneliness, blowing mind away off the hastiness… well, there are times when we found the beauty of being alone, away from the hectic, flooded working hours especially when we had just been heavily swamped in the loudness of ticking, running clock…

Love the serenity, the calmness and beauty of this place in Kg. Marakau, Ranau. This is just a stone throw away from my family in-laws’ house, taken early in the morning while the sun was just at its lovely level, sneaking between a gap of hills to give this nice ‘spot-light’ – I guessed it has to be beautiful.

Backdrop was the 4012m Mount Kinabalu blanketed by the cotton of low clouds. I love the feeling of enjoying the ‘slow moving time’.

Ah… but now I am back to work, rushed off feet again… :(

BTW, it has been a long silence from me. I think I am deeply missing this Treklens... there are times I had tried to pull over, dropping by for TL but making a post was quite impossible. Hope to be able to join the joy again. :)

PP: I had added a ‘digital polarizing’ using CS3 to enhance the blue sky (layer blending). A bit levels tweaking to give a better contrast and finally sharpening.

cantik lah adhan.. bukan ko pernah ambil shot ne dulu kaini? malas sa p check mcm ada sa nampak ne view dulu.. hampir mcm ne la petang sa punya pic untuk theme kali ne.. tapi of course not secantik ne..

yg tu rumah sapa? betul2 ada attic kaitu? santik dia punya design.. dui udara pun lebih nyaman lagi disana.. apa pon well done cantik..

There are a lot of shots like this on TL - rice fields, coconut trees and tropical clouds - but if they're popular and they score well, why not! This is a nicely taken example, balanced, well composed, good saturation and sharpness.

I think you are competing with Kodiang but you win handsomely with the majestic Mt Kinabalu in the BG to make this fantastic scene with such a superb sunlight luminance on the rice field, plus of course the foggy clouds. The patch of light over the house and field in the middle is giving this shot a spell. tfs

Hi Ramdan. This is "fully colored" landscape photo. Even though it is so unnatural, that is the main reason I love it! :-) I like stron, unnatural colors in this kind of shots! And I would like to live in the place like this one... :-)

Time cuti-cuti raya sempat juga ko pi snap kan? Memang cam tulah "macam Marinda susah di lepaskan".

from the thumbnail it looks like a flag with blue, white and green horizontal stripes. thanks to the well-defined and captured colours here. you know well i like this sort of clarity especially on the paddy trees and the greenery at the BG. an effective selection of an aperture metering here, Ndan.
