Hi Bill,

This is so wonderful, the colour green, the clarity of the water and I fully understand whi you had to use a low F number - because you had to have a fast shuttertime in that moving boat.
So no questions - I just enjoy this scene before me on the computerscreen.

Nice capture - I love the view of the coral under the water, beautiful clarity and colours.

Perhaps it's an optical illusion, but the horizon looks slightly unbalanced or skewed, to me?

Some excellent points in your PfB, although I disagree with the emphasis on points - it's easy enough to make friends and win points through mutual critiquing, and there are plenty of examples of photographers who haven't improved, but still manage to "score points." Points are not an indicator of quality, unfortunately - just popularity.

I like that pow POV and the transparent water with those excellent details and very special colors. The 2/3 frame a llows for a great fg and the line of homes and people nicely splits the image in two

Hi Bill,

The point of view takes our eys toward the pier in the background which is giving depth to the photo. The presence of the people has an effect of scale. Seeing through the water is an asset to the composition. The light is enhancing the colors of the scenery.

a very effective use of a polariser here, Bill. details under the water are clearly visible and well captured. a very nice low angle shot and i like the way you gave a prominence to the subjects in this shallow water.

This is a lovely shot, Bill. I've seen similar from the Maldives and places like that - this really is a beauty and up there with the best of them. I'm impressed with the point of view and just how clearly you have caught the water and the coral. Very nice image indeed!

Sometimes it is rewaring to browse people's galleries because it is impossible to see all the wonderful shots that are posted.

I love the low pov which captures so clearly the underwater details of this inviting location. As I shiver in the cold, there is no where more beautiful that I would like to experience!

The light, the clarity and the composition are all excellent.
