He's a scrawny rooster Terry. Puffing and panting after being chased by 'your' dog!!
Not the best composition - I think a good cropping to off-centre him and that would make his bigger for us to see.

Oh yes this chicken would be a good attention getter for a dog, I can imagine the feathers flying everywhere.
Not as sharp as your usual photos but trying to keep up with a bird is understandable and you did great.
