hi Steve

If you ask me today, it is very hot and humid but I am fine :) thank you. What are you busy with?

There are a number of people missing in action from KK, and you are one of them. What's up?

Very good light to have this macro shot of dragonfly when you show sharpness and good focus of subject. I wonder what is the white behind? Another dry branch stick? If it is not there [eg you can move aside a bit to avoid it?] it can be better perhaps, but I find it can also be a nice 'distracting' element here because chiefly of its bright white color, as if it also draws my eye to see the dragonfly immediately.

So it is not a bad element in this sense.

The light on the stick is giving it a bright look and I like the overall view of this shot. No noise :) But why the tail is bent? You bite?

Great work.

tfs, bill

Hello Steve, a good macro of the red dragonfly,I have never seen a red one before.
The patterning on the wing shows up really well.
The white in the bg is a little distracting but I know how quickly these insects flit about, so I am not being too critical as I couldn't do any better!
Tfs, regards Jean.
