Images of deities always depict the aura – a distinctive radiation that seems to surround the holy beings.
In the absence of rays, I chose an angle where I can shoot a section of the goddess from behind an iron grille with a design of a rising sun, thus giving an aura-like effect that ‘radiates’ around the goddess’ head.
In short, in photography this is called natural framing.
