what a winsome smile she's got. some might suggest that a fill-in flash would have avoided the shadow on her face, but i prefer it this way as she looks more candid and natural. regards, danilo

Assalammualaikum Geoffrey,
The thing about me, I tend to study everything about a photo and would say something technical about what I had observed.

The greatest thing about your work here is her expression and everything else on her face. And the way her hair "scoped" her face. Even the background is blurred enough to give that visual quality which helps promote her expression.

Cropping off below the part at the shoulder would give her that much more prominent, don't you think. At least the area starting a bit from the top of the emblem. Honestly, if she is my girlfriend, she would love me more for giving her face, all that attention. :)

Assalamualaikum Jeff. You did excellent portrait posts here in TL. This one is well framed and good exposure control. The shadow across the face is a bit distracting which IMHO could be eliminated with fill in flash - but still a very good composition. TFS and best regards. Jusni
