The composition is great but your shot seems flat.
No dimension in your shot is achievable.
Exccesive sharpness damage the border line of the river.
Also a note may helpful but not neccesary, A PICTURE SHOULD TALK BY ITSELF!

it looks very much like a track in a field, Bill.
a beautiful formation by nature.
sometimes i wonder....would it be possible to cut short the winding to safe the voyage time....?

Interesting image Bill. These photos from the air are always somewhat intriguing. When I was a kid jet flight was a pretty new thing and I remember my first experiences of looking out the window of a jet.

I like the way the clouds float above the surface below and create a contrast to the brown bend in the river.

I've been reading about Borneo and the destruction of its amazing rain forests in National Geographic magazine. Too many people on the planet, but do I know the solution . . . NO!

Wow what a great horse shoe curve this is.
Looks to be a great parcours for 'seahorse' speed games, right ?
Pity it dond freeze over there in Kuching, otherwise a nice track for icespeed skating too.

A wonderful aerial view and such interesting notes. I was tutored in my geography, here.

For the view fron an aeroplane's window, this has terrific clarity. The ceiling of clouds, with their ground shadows, give a good impression of perspective.
