Hi Bill,

A journey into the unknown, isn't that true for all of our life. Only we already know a few of the set-backs waiting for us - chalange now is to see the positive side of things.
As a way to relax there always is photography and sharing ideas and photo's.

if a colour is to tell about the future, i'd tell my friend at the control tower to ask the pilot to turn to the right for the finer sky and weather....:)

It almost looks like you used two photo's.... One of the sky and one of the plane. But I don't read about that in your note, so maybe its just one photo with a magical effect arround the plane...

Beautiful warm colours and you've captured a sky with all kind of colours and clouds.

Aircraft was nicely captured. Shot was perfectly composed with Eagles/birds surrounding. Sunset giving beautiful BG and creating amazing panoramic. Well done!

Facinating shot with nice warm colors in the sky and good cloud formations. I love the placement of the plane and the scattered birds. As for your note, well said! I work as a mortgage banker and see first hand the effects of this global economy on classes of people. TL has been a great outlet for me as well. Have a great and successfull 2009 Bill.

I like this one a lot.
Specially the plane being a part of sky scenery. An overwhelming sky scenery.
It provides really fantastic view and a photo to wrap it with your title and note.

I don't know if it was in international news, Bill, but a jet landed in the river in New York City a couple days ago because of engine trouble . . . birds probably flew into the engine twice and brought it down. Happily, no one was injured and the plane is still sitting in the water waiting to be pulled out with a crane.

Anyway, interesting shot, which obviously reminded me of this incident.

I wish I weren't so concerned about all the polution airplanes are emanating in the atmosphere too.

I like the colors and the way this was caught, it almost looks like it was set afire by the sun. TFS Good exposure time and interesting to catch the bird as well.
