Just experimental test of iso4000 for new sensor. This is my PfB theme series no.7, although I tried not to post this building until it is completed and decorated for grand opening which takes a few more months. The new State Legislative Assembly building of Sarawak, located at the side of Sarawak River next to Astana palace. The tower crane is still there. What makes this site special is that on the north side of the river, Malay villages dominate the landscape and many trees and green are found. So the new building is located on a good spot for viewing at this side of the waterfront. The gold color of the umbrella roof is selected to follow the existing Assembly building, seen at the right side at far end, which was built in 70s.

Technical : heavy lens 50-500mm f/4-6.3 without tripod, late evening dim light and restricted space to get this POV from a building spot. It will be near impossible to get any good resolution without high iso4000 and for the heavy lens without tripod, a blur picture is the result if the speed is not not to avoid motion blur. How do you find the noise level of this photo? The contrast and resolution due to poor light condition and dull sky hopefully can be changed when another day with colorful sunset sky can afford a re-shoot. Share your critiques and thoughts.

Hi Bill
good capture of this interesting architecture.
well composed and nice soft colors.
good clarity and sharpness of details.
the crane, though, is a bit of distraction.
I know it's hard to avoid them.(a little ws will do)

Hey Bill this picture appears to be so soft!! And how do you manage to get such beautiful clouds in the sky everytime?
A very quiet and simple post.
I like the presentation!

Have a great weekend!

Ciao Bill

I like beautiful architecture of the details at the bottom
with all the arches and columns of support.
The dome of the building is beautiful and he has a good side
he has isolated more focused vision on it, nothing to distract.
good clarity and sharpness of details.
I like the presentation!
Greetings!

Sergio
