I assume they're wanting to travel somewhere on the boat.

A good capture of reflections and colours here with an excellent dynamic range of light and shadow. Some blown-out highlights perhaps on the roof of the boat on the left and the water on the right of the frame.

I do wonder if you could have cropped from the top and right, maybe to remove some of those orphaned reflections at the top of the frame?

Very interesting these kind of boats.I have read about Sampan (here sampana) in some books. I like the colours and your pov. The effect of the natural lights in the water is nice.

lovely reflection and excellent composition ely jetty.of colours, especially the guy and the lady in baju kurung. Well placed too accordingly.
Some graphical lines and design also help you in making it so beautiful, especially the stairs and wooden structure.

this kind of river transpo is quite common across southeast asia. we have one in the philippines, though the design might vary, excellent capture of daily life here Bill. colors are cool.

I think this is a very unique POV. It has many aspects in it. The still boats on still water and people moving into the boat. Almost like a small story.
