Hi friends in TL,

Thank you Bill, Alfred and Jong! The trip to Kuching was memorable because of the hospitality of these Trek members.

This is our first stop along the river and we can see one of our member is checking out the gear. It is still very early and the light just about reaching the horizon. The camera was mounted on a tripod and the shutter was released with wireless trigger.

If we could have Jong swimming in the river with a small circle of ripples, it would be fantastic framing of the morning view :))) why no one put her in the water?

Although I can see some limitations of the choice of POV on distracting elements, your SWA is a superb choice to present this view of the river and lights reflected of it. The morning blue hour and the calm still is very well depicted in this take.

And I think one factor which makes it memorable for you is purely the time we forced you to get up at 5.00am for full-day shooting. Lucky your wife is very understanding :) and I hope her D40 takes are coming to TL soon.
