Intriguing shot here Jusni, great subject - Jong sitting in shadow photographing the sunrise. I like her look of concentration, and the light on her is very pleasing.

The eye then tends to drift across the frame to that tower on the far side of the water. I realise that the "horizon" appears to slope because it is the effect of perspective along the riverbank, but I have to wonder how this would look if it was made horizontal?

bro,

ne terlebih sunrise sudah ne.. :) yg cuma dapat matahari tu ja.. tu pun kalo tak bright sangat.. yg best btw 5.50 am to 6.20 am barulah warna2 pagi tu kelihatan.. dari jauh sudah kenampakan harsh light tu.. apa pon still cantik bandar kuching di pagi hari.. nice shot of jong juga..

Just perfect. I llike the balanced 1/2 frame and the line of light right in the middle of it making the buildings come out really nice. Your friend on the left is the asset to it. I really like the colors and contrasts.
