plant in the garden is dieing while members of our family still trapped in depress mood last few months. watering plants was my mother first job of the day and open gate for me when i about go to work at the same time. well, that will no longer happen...
anyway, we just water the plant sometime if remember and that of cos lead to ruining of my parents garden. luckily its was wet season of the year... when i slowly built up the habit of wake up early to water the plant before work, was almost 2 months later. flowers slowly return to their better shape after that and continue to bright up our garden. thought of if persistent form part of diary life and never give up, life will back to its track again..

You life will slowly get back on track Jong, but it will take some time!
This is nice shot - I like the side view with some leaves and another bud visible .. and the little droplets. Nice and sharp .. good detail. It all stands out very nicely against the dark BG.
Thinking of you Jong.

hi Jong

Good to see your post again, although of late it is slowing down. I am sure you have some good shots from Kuching trip at mid-March?

A few straight comments on the macro flower shot
1. light exposure is good
2. sharp and composition is fine
3. color tone is natural under no harsh light
4. add a thin white inner border line before you add black
5. try avoid crop of the leaf edges at right or left
6. no photo info?
7. keep watering it!

This Team Cambodia? dedication to you for a good reason, the girls are young, face hardships but still live through struggle to survive a tough condition where poverty level is high. So you are much better prepared for life than them, in many ways. And you will find in days to come that you will grow stronger because of the challenges and responsibilities you have to shoulder and to take over the position of a loved one you have lost, tasks such as caring for plants. It starts from a small thing and goes to more heavy tasks. The good thing about being young, is that you can take more impacts and live through them and adapt successfully. So this period is a testing ground for you. CARING. It starts from zero, for your garden plants, then to other things. Find the time, do some sacrifices. That is life :) And have FUN doing it.

You can see how I treat Dude the best dog I ever have. I try not to let him run down Mount Singai because he might injure his legs on the steep slope. I let him loose mostly to get him enjoy freedom and be happy. He likes Sunday mornings! And I like his company.

Sorry if I sound nagging but I promise this is the 1st and last such comment.

tfs, bill

dear Chin Jong,
vivid yellow flower with cool water drops.
very clear image, but in my feeling, a little too sharp edge looks a bit hard.
whole feeling is nice to show us moist armosphere.
thank you,
Akihisa
