Nice to see this shot of Bill in action! Good use of tilt and very nice use of light. Good shallow depth of field.
I have to say I don't really like the yellow frame here, I think simpler, and black or white, would have been better.

Hello Jong.
Grear tribute to your friend Bill.
He sure is a Gentleman, making sure his trouwers get dry, even when staying in the water, haha
Very nice composed picture, Billy will be very proud on that, aswell being your friend.
Best wishes to the Group.

hi Jong
Am I supposed to give a critique to this one? Can I do so? I find a few things I need to tackle here
.he does look a bit like me, no? identical twin?
.he has the same equipment that I have!
.the tilt, you dont wish the camera/lens to drop, do you? [I would do WS to tilt CCW 26degree so the equipment wont drop. This is the place where my camera/lens dropped to the rock, lens and polariser damaged, camera still ok]
.lucky he is decently dressed
.light is strong on the head
.dip into water because of sandflies! now you know why
Good work in this photography shooting but you understand fully why I cannot give rating smiley for this one, because it would be biased and I also cannot mark your note as useful because it can be even more prejudiced and biased!
But thank you for the compliments. I thought we have not seeing eye to eye and become big rival since 1998!
You can imagine him carrying all that equipment plus extra total of 8-9kg weight up and down the temples and mountains of Cambodia [lucky Cambodia mountains are not high!].
Good to mix up sunday trek-life and photography with you. Ok, I will buy you dinner soon.
tfs, bill
Hi Jong,
Bill told me you have just earned a SWA. Looking forward to seeing posts in that genre. One thing Alfred has to learn is to have a camera bag for his gears. Those expensive optics won't fit in his trousers.
FX and DX formats in hand captured so well with the light on his head. He is ready to take on the world by looking at this post.
TFS and have a great day yourself.
Best regards,
Jusni
