Very interesting to invert this Bill. From the thumbnail, I thought it was maybe a hot air balloon.
Perfect symmetry in this shot, which is always appealing to my eyes, and very nice colors and sharpness.

yes, I think you did the right thing when you decided to invert the picture. it's a minimalist approach and I like it, as well as the beautiful orange tone of this structure. You managed to get good sharpness and clarity throughout and your presentation is very good.

It's amazing how our minds get fixated on subejects to photograph sometimes Bill. Wonderful 'reversal', as Trudy pointed out it does look like a hot air balloon. Tech details appear optimum and the minimal pp work is effective. Best regards...Danilo

Hello Bill,

I like the inversion of the building's unusual roof. It looks like the bottom part of an air balloon, or just an abstract image. Cool.

HOWEVER, it is a give away that it's upside down when you see your trademark inverted also, which give away the "trick photograph" affectation.

I saw your other version on TE, which in my opinion is a better image in terms of composition, but this is still very good and I like how you flipped the image. Nice shapes and graphicism while the colours are just sublime. That D700 looks like a mean machine also, and handled the lighting very well also.
