This is a very sweet shot and a wonderful capture - technically the light and colours are good, the catchlights in her eyes very well caught. I really like the mix of emotions in her face, subtle but poignant; curiosity, amusement, a little defiance.

Bonjour Bill,

Nice portrait in a beautifull light. Sharp focus and well exposed. Among the lens I am looking for wild life picutre, the 50-500 Sigma is a candidate. It look wonderfull at 270mm, is it the same all over the focal range? There is no OS but I dont beleive we really can handhold a 500mm (750mm equivalent on my D300). Lovely picture, TFS.

You outdid yourself here Bill, hum do i like her features ,the eyes in particular, i sense some pain looking in her watery eyes, she has a toothache right !That hurts , worse how do you get a dentist in an emergency out there 5 hours away from ? and it's only a tooth what if your appendix starts hurting, i better not know ! Great portrait Bill one of the best i have seen in a while, band aid included,
