[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi all,
Another food photo from me.This time its the delicious red roasted chicken meal, served with white rice and local-style cooked vegetables. Its called "Paprik Ayam" in Malay. Its a very nice meal....

I set the aperture to f/2.8, and try to create a shallow DOF.. focused on the vegetables...so the main object will be the cooked vegetables.

Yum Yum..
I think the DOF is too shallow, even thought you are focusing on the veges, most of the vegetables are out of focus too. Anyway.. happy new year to you too..

In taking food photos, DOF is important and IMHO you've got it right in this picture.

great capture, Thong. you are already making me hungry again! i like the angle you chosed and the colors are great....looks as professional as any food photography in cookbooks and mags:)
