Destiny.. it's like a path laid in front of us some say we have it all in our hands, yes, i agree, the decision is ours, but the direction isn't.

Look ahead....and you'll find a solidary passage - with potholes, rotten timber decks or sometimes the sweet smell of fresh dew.
We are all wandering souls....someday, somehow, we'll find our way....then we'll be home.

This photo was taken at Kampung Pasir, JB.. using the Black and White mode on my camera. Minor adjustment on the 'curve' using photoshop and added frame and texts.

I like this photo and hope you like it too.

I think it means take a deep breath before walk through the broken wood bridge. A nice composition for b/w theme. Simple and nice.

Excelent capture of the bridge and the B.& W. works for this one.
IMO, the use of F2.8 blurred 3/4 of your image and only the first 25% was in focus. The use of 5.6 would have given you more focus. In front of and behind of middle. {focal point}.
Well done on this capture.

Mike

I like the picture, but I don't get the note. Good job. I'm glad you spent your time well in JB.

I like very much the dynamism of your photo, and the choice of b&w. Nice shot.

Thong, a great picture and a wonderful note.
Thanks for sharing,
Liz

Yes, we all feel sometimes uncomfortable when we are at "home". We try to make it better, have to take care sometimes which step to take next. But we are confident we are on the right way, only if you look carefully.

What I don't understand why they don't do repairs, one day you'll need this road, if it was only to run for safety!

nice composition Ah Tong, like the steps, but wouldn't cross it without the fear of stepping through though :-)) ..B/W fits here but the sharpnes is not what it should be , using a greater value for the F-stop could correct it !

The note fits the picture perfectly !
