Your photo accompanies the note very well, Eleen. Nice collage too, though the time on the rightmost picture is not real, as the sun is on the same height as in the picture next to it. Nice PP work on the colours & saturation though. TFS.

Good shot, I think I like everything. The sunset is beautiful itself and I love the different colors on each picture. Makes a very nice effect. The idea is great, very original, and appropriate to the situation. Thanks for the explaining note.

This is a lovely tribute to your fiend, and you have shared your heartfelt feelings with us. Please accept my condolences.
I lost a friend of over 30 years the middle of December, so I can understand how you are feeling. Your friend died to save another life. Mine was in Thailand during Tsunami weather visiting her family. She had a heart attack. I also posted a photo for a tribute to her. I felt better after that, but now I have seen your 'goodbye' not to your friend, I wish I had done the same.
I like the way you have photographed the sunset at different stages. Time will heal your pain.

Your sharing here is so great. I will say a prayer for your friend tonight. These images and the difference in light is realy amazing. Was a great idea to print the time on each.

I would like to share with you the words of a Nick Cave song...

When I think of my parents and there passing from this world. In my travels now I know they are always with me. In the past when they were living, I could miss them more, in the reality of being there are many contradictions.

I know it is some time since you posted this but I found a poem that you may enjoy. I think your tribute of the sunset is wonderful.

Very nice thought accompanied by a nice photo... How many times have passed by that lido beach and how many sunrises and sunsets I have seen?? When I am down usually its there I go... it gives me somehow some peace. Bala
