absolutely fantastic!! .. another SKLY masterpiece from you, eleen.. i like this one.. the theme and the image "lights" each other very well... the post processed is very well done, same with ur words and notes.. make me wonder... and this could be a good bookmark, if you ever printed it out and put some strings on it.. haha.. hope to see more artworks from you... thanks for sharing!
Hi Eleen
Très belle pensée, le cadrage, la position des différents éléments sont à la place adéquate.
Entre silence et lumière ... commence l'étude de la sagesse ...
Très bonne idée

Fabulous the notes and the composition - well done!
No light, no pictures, no TL ;-)
Strangely enough reading your note made me think about the blind, for whom there isn't any light, but they're well alive. Even in the darkest caves, where no light ever comes, there are insects, fish and amphibiae... But yes, for us, used to light, darkness is a negative entity, associated with fear, helplessness, desorientation, uselessness... If you can't stand it, look for the light again or wait a short while till morning comes.
Good composition, which could sell good as postcard too.
You made your point about leaving out the shadow, but you can't take the lighting on the woman out (clearly illuminated from the left-side, reflected from top-right) Perhaps a mere silhouet would have been more in accordance.
But I like it as it is, TFS
Very good note and picture compilation Eleen ...excellent PP to !! Great !!

Wow, strong thoughts. With ideas like that running round my head I wouldn't have much time for anything else either. When one looks at the photo and the text the two actually go well together - she does look like an ancient philosopher who could well have exactly that thought going through her mind at the moment when this was taken. And all that white suits the blinding question.
Good composition and good reflexion Eleen. Excellent post processing. Yes sometimes we feel bored. It is because we are looking for something. We are afraid to be nothing. There is nothing wrong to be nothing. It is our ego that doesn't want to be nothing. Let it go. Accept completely the feeling to be bored. It is not you who feel bored but your ego. You are the light, you have to believe it.

Inspiration, that moments spark of power, that gives us the direction. Where does it come from. The reality of our search for light perhaps opens us to inner realisation of this light in the form of idea's.
Always makes me thankful for inspiration, for I know it comes from somewhere outside me. (I have found this specially in song writing.) These words and idea's start somewhere beyond me and I am just the carrier of the wave.
Your ideas shoot to the core of the question where realy are we? I would say just on the way... Let the light break down our concepts of mind and we may find that we are just a wave of the light.

this has been a favorite of mine for a while, however, remained uncritiqued because i have been unsure of exactly what to say...
today, this speaks volumes to me...especially the overwhelming light. the expression on her face is also one that touches me - she seems so deep in her thinking...
i love this - it puts me in the mood to light a candle and meditate for a while - thanks for this one!
