Frozen Heart
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hai Friends in TL, hope you like this. was trying to create a frozen heart image.
- Carve the wood into the heart shape.
- put it in a pot with water and freeze it.
- because of the wood's floating, so after freezed add in water to freeze again and made the effect as it's in the middle of the ice.
- add in water again, freeze for around 1 hours
( while the ice was not fully form.) crack the top layer.
- use my table lamp for lighting.
- Frame it and title it.
- Too bad can't afford to buy macro lens yet :(
P/S: just a thought, how will a person with a frozen heart look like? Emotionless ?? is there any chance to warm up again and make it become a warm heart ? but when become a warm heart a person will have emotional problem. i guess Pro and Cons haa..
As Always, Comments and Critiques are more than welcome.
Regards,
Bernard |

Hi Bernard,
I have no idea why this hasn't got any comment...
I like it. It was a lot of work you've put in to create this image. But the work was well spent. I like the look of the wooden heart in the ice as it has a good balance between warm and cold colours.
You used your resources (like your table lamp) very well to create a remarkable peace of artwork.
Thanks for sharing this. Kind regards, Britta
P.s.: You asked how a person might look like who has got a frozen heart...remembered me of the expression "cold-hearted"...made me play around with your image...I hope you don't mind me doing a workshop as there is no real improvement to be done on your image. Have a great weekend. Britta

You put quite some work into this one,...congrats.
I prefer this one to the WS, that blue was too harsh for me.
TFS again. I truly relish visit to your gallery. one more proof to me that quality is always preferable to quantity.
Nenad.
