[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is my first experiment using the Adobe Photoshop merging tool. I took this photo during my recent visit to Langkawi Malaysia. I don't have the ultra wide angle lens, so i took 2 different shoots and merge it using the photoshop and this is the result. When you look at the sky you can see the difference of the two pictures.

Thanks for viewing and feel free to critiques and comments.

hey Sufri
I think that no matter of the line it still got ok :) it looks laike a ray of sunlight :) nice colours, a lot of details and great POV
cheers
allye :)

i don't agree, this line is a big disturbing element,
to make a good stitch, here some tips :
- all the photos have to be done with the same exposure, so you have to make the right choice, judging by the light in the middle of the panorama, or on the subject...
- use the same focus on each of the photos too,
- make sure you photographed a bit more than what you want to show, sometimes the stitch is not complete when you do a pano with 5 or 10 photos (or more)...
when uploading panoramas on this site you can also post a large version (with maximum size of 4000pixels), by this way, other members will appreciate more the details (here we can't see a lot)
keep shoting, and good luck !
regards
jo

Hi Sufri,

I think that different shade in the sky is quite obvious. Your efforts for creating this stitch is really good. I haven't done it before but I think I could something from observing your photograph.

TFS.

Alvin

Hello Sufri.
Langkawi. thanks a lot.
I've been there in April for 15 days (after Penang an KL)
Not sure, but I think I remember this location, as I see the sony shop where I was looking for a new Flash.
A good try with merging two pictures, but not perfect.
There is a lack of sharpness and contrast.
Anyhow, thanks for the upload.
Jan
