a very beautiful combination of colours of red, white, green and yellow - all in one sharp focus, leaving the others - the hankie, fork and spoon - in a lesser prominence.

the placement/cropping is no less lovely too. well done.

Nice singleminded capture here, good use of DOF.

To me the colours don't work so well in harmony, greens are mixed with crimsons and yellows and the red napkin in the background is a glaring clash again; I think this would have been a good choice for b&w, don't you?

I hope you're not offended by a less-than-perfect score, but I think this shot could be better!

I do not really understand the fine dining appreciation :). But I guess the composition shows something about it.

What really makes the attraction (to me) here is that green. Rew is right about the complication that doesn't work well with his liking. Hmmm... not sure, and a bit confusion to me since the colors here (to me) is quite interesting. :) I believe, it's all about personal taste.

Hi Jusni,

The bright colours of the tropics in this composition make me think of warm candle lit nights with a soft sea breeze cooling me off.
Janone must have totally loved this picture - thinking back of Langkawi!
I think I would have cropped a bit away from the right side and make it a square picture.

Such a simple elegance to this table setting. Wonderful colour with my favourite flower-the bougie and I forget the name of the white waxy flower that is so fragrant.
