Let me introduce you to my long-time companion of life Gisele , seen here sitting on one of the steps leading down from a long rectangular water fountain extending from near the entrance of the famous Petronas Towers to the boulevard fronting the building , she is at the farthest from the building here in this compo .
I know it's cliché , evidently all visitors coming to see this architectural delight do the same photo , we all waited our turn to do it, on that very step , well why would i do otherwise! lol! So here she is , to get this particular angle and view , naturally i had to lie down very flat on my back to get her and the building in the shot , yep this is a partial view of her and of the building indeed , it's a huge structure and even at 36mn it's impossible from this vantage point to even consider getting the whole building from the base up in the frame , i have also comprehended that the low angle of view and wide focal length ( the widest on this camera ... ) would not do justice to her figure , omg the only way for me to post her photo today is to write the nicest words , right ! Of course my sweet Gisele is thinner than that , i love you and you look great , now about that Darling ,hum hum better be on her good side ! LOL!
The Petronas Towers ,oh well they have been described in details before on other photos but a few lines in brief to say , as a quick reminder , that they were opened a little over 20 years ago ,the 88-storey steel clad twin towers rise up to some 451.9 m and are the headquarters of the national oil and gas company Petronas as well as housing several other companies like Al Jazeera 's new Asian broadcasting centre. The Skybridge at the 41st floor is the highest one can go as a visitor, as seen here over Gisele's head it connects the two towers at a modest 170 m above ground . As a final note, 1400 free tickets are available to visitors but to get one you must be at the ticket counter in the basement no later than 8.30 AM , well guess what , we weren't able to secure any ticket out of the 3 attempts we made , true it was a weekend and getting a ticket on those days is quite difficult, it seems the whole population of Kuala Lumpur is there with you , a nice activity to do in air con at that and it's closed on Mondays , well that 's how popular they are , no wonder we had to look at them from the humid outside , another time maybe !
Thanks for reviewing this photo ,
Iso 80 , f/8, 1/100 , had a great sky to work with , i needed to add illumination to Gisele's face particularly the light coming from the rear of the building , not sure if i did enough though , other PP invloved correcting/leveling the towers , cropping , contrasting , sharpening and framing ,
this whole processing brought noise into the image , where did i do wrong as i did not have it in the first place , there must be a way to reduce this noise other than in Neat image without loosing the EXIF data, any help here ? Thanks to all who take their time to review this photo !

hahaha what a view Carol!!! I think this is one for the wall!
I really like your view, great building, but even more important; a lovely woman in the foreground.

Cheers!

Hi Carol,
Very typical Malaysian view indeed, beautiful symmetric composition set up by the Petronas towers, it works great as a frame for this portrait. :) Good idea, creative photo, TFS!
Greetings,
Kristof

Hi Carol
Well done with your PP. I do not see much evidence of noise but if you have it it may be as a result of compressing the jpeg to fit TE's standards. I do not think your friend looks fat but the wide angle lens tends to put more emphasis on her knees and distorts somewhat.

This is great Carol! Those towers ... WOW!! Quite a sight to see, I'm sure.
Great to get Gisele in on the touristy shot. Now you laying on your back to get the shot ... that I would have liked to have seen too!! hehe. She should have taken a picture of that.
Great perspective though, and a great way to show these impressive towers and Gisele at the same time.
,, and very sweet words about your beloved also!
Great job my friend.

Bonjour Carol

Belo trabalho! Meus parabéns!

Bruno

Hi Carol...

Excellent shot of wonderful place the Petronas Towers...
Excellently done - fantastic details, sharpness and colors.
Great info story - Best regards my friend,
George

Salut Carol.

Amicalement
Pascal-Eric
