Char-Siew
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Its called "Char - Siew" in Chinese. One of my favourite dish. Its some red roasted pork and people usually eat them with white rice. Taken using my Casio Exilim EX Z40 Camera, using the "Food" preset.
I did some minor cropping, resized and added frame into the photo. All using IrFanView freeware.
I like this photo and hope you like it too. :) |

A smaller aperture would make me hungry again! Btw, what's with you and your food pictures? Heh heh....
This also appears calorie laden, but food is not good if you take the calories out of it! I love Chinese Cuisine but have not seen this particular dish on the menu.I will look more closly next time I go to my favorite restaurant. This is a good composition and I like it... :O)

Good photo, though I think it would've been better if you focused on the frontest char siew and then move the camera to get the entire shot. Just my 2 cents. My camera doesn't have a 'Food' setting unfortunately...

I am half Chinese and oh do I know char-siew (even though I had no idea that is how you spell it! :D) This shot makes it look so delicious!! It looks very moist, not like most char-siew I have had. I guess it is different in Hawaii.. I bet you could have sold this picture back to the restaurant for their menu! *man, I am hungry right now...*
