[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I am not good in writing meaningful poetic words or touching poems..

Lets just make it simple...

My Hero is My Father..
He is so important to our family and my life.
Thank you...
with full respect and loves, Happy Father's Day! (still long way to go lar...hahaha)..

This is my another attempt trying to take "potraits" photo. The man inside the photo, is my father, Mr.Thong. He was talking with my uncles, and this shot is taken without his knowledge. Natural feelings, and the expression is there...

Using Adobe Photoshop 8.0 :-
1. Select my father using the Magnetic Lasso Tool
2. Paste to another new layer
3. Desaturate the background layer
4. Apply Gausian blur [Radius 3.0 pix] on the background layer
5. Merge layers
6. Adjust levels
7. Add frame and texts...

I really needs tips from you guys how to improve my taking potraits photo ideas and skills. As i am really addicted with Manny works at TrekEarth.

Nice Day!

I like his expression and think you did a fine job with shooting the photo. I am not a fan of these combination b & w / color images, but that is my taste.

I think you have done a wonderful job in capturing your father's expression. The colours, composition and framing are good, but I do not like the blur in this situation.
Your words about your father are a tribute, and I find it very touching.

I like this photo, especially capture the expression on your father's face, and I like your note, well done. :)

Hi Thong ... Jr (ahahah !)
Very nice shot of the most important man in one life : his father. This is a nice tribute.
Good job indeed.

Best regards. Hugues

Very nice photo. Now I am eager to see your self portrait to see the resemblance :) Your father will be very proud of you.

J'aime beaucoup cet hommage à ton papa, Thong. La photo est bien réussie et le post-traitement également. Amitiés, Patty.

nice title and nice note...what is lacking i agree is a self portrait to match....hahha...well done...you captured this portrait very well in depth and expression.
