[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
"Hey, look at the camera....!"

Its 2nd day of Chinese New Year, lots of relatives gather at my house. And for sure lots of kids.. they are playing around outside my house...they are so happy.. getting to meet each other, getting lots of ANG POWs!

And this is one of my favourite photo.. I just dunno why i like it...haha.. the main girl there is my cousin (she looks so tired after running up and down for more than 1 hour), and the girl pointing at me is my 9 years old sister.

From the original photo, i coverted to Black And White (desaturate), cropped to tighten the image, adjust the curves to create more darker and more contrasts, resized and added border.

Hmmm..anyway, the holiday is going to finish soon.. :( sure i will miss this Chinese New Year..

hahah, Thong, your cousin definately looks so tired and messy! i like the spontaneity in this photo!!! and the little details of her hair and expressions are all very well captured. the dof is great (your sister's face). good choice of desaturating it. well done!

Aaahhh I'm glad you are having a good time Thong, the photo is what I would call a 'action' shot (grin) beautifull two little girls you used for models, well done once again!

I like this photo. It somehow telling a story and yet the story is a mystery. Although it is hard to match the two girl's reaction but both reacted in their own way. Nice capture.

Excellent time...and also composition...Especially, I like harmonious contrast between black and white areas...

Wonderful picture. I liked their expressions especially your sister, she really seems to be telling you to take the picture "right now!". Although I live in the other side of the world and we have completely different cultures we both celebrate the new year in the same way: All the family gathered, children playing outside, everybody telling "long time no see" each ohter... What would be of the life without these special moments?
