[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the 2nd photo of my sister and my cousins during Chinese New Year. The first photo is
posted here.

All of them are playing around outside the house, and they are very very active and run up run down. haha.. this photo was taken when they stopped and chilled out for a while. The girl on the left is my younger sister, and the other two are my cousins.

Original photo was slightly cropped, converted to grayscale, and adjusted the CURVEs to make it darker and more contrasts. Err..btw, is it too dark??? It looks ok on my monitor screen...

This made me smile Thong. Your cousine looks so cool and your sister like the charm herself, just like your cousine in the back. This is a great capture.

funny photo - they look like they are having such a great time. lovely photo....kids have so much exrpessions to offer, something we adults sometimes lack of:)

Right mood,
Bw, and taken with an atitute that can counte.
Bigg way of contrast and lightness.
Well done!.

very nice capture :) full of life and youth.
it doesn´t look too dark to me, just fine. i have a suggestion though: the grayscale conversion is the easiest way to achieve b&w but it is IMHO no the best way, because it makes the tones a bit "plain". i think that with a different technique here, you could have made contrasts and especially skin tones more stand out. i could show you in ws if i had the original color picture.
Anyways, this is a great picture :)

A lot of expressions captured in one go ! Very nice,Thong. Don't worry about the brightness. The contrast is fine anyway.

(PS : on BW photography. According to an article I read, it is better to shoot your pics in colour, then PP them to take away the colour. By doing so you would gain a lot of detail since each layer contains its seprate details. (if you happen to have a decent PP program that is...)
