I remember that morning, my girlfriend and I.. we were at our hometown.. and we decided to go out early morning..to take some sunrise photos.. but too bad we cannot find any..and don't know where to go.. so we kinda gave up and heading back to my home..

and just a few roads before we reach my house, we saw this beautiful skies, with lots of clouds and the sun was rising somewhere there... i was in the car and just winded down the window and took this shoot..

most of the times, the great and nice things are just near you... take a look around and appreciate it...

Hi Thong,
Nice shot. Mr. Sunrise-chaser-guy. ;P
The sky looks fabulous. The composition is nice. I like how the poles lead over to the hills and then to the sunrise...good movement. I like the silhouette, too. But, I can see you did some pp work, and, in my opinion, it'd be best if you don't. I see it looks like you tried to lighten the houses to make them more visible...okay...but, you overlapped a little too much on the hillside so it look a little funny...Maybe you could just lighten up to the sidewalk?...it seems a good area to stop...then maybe half strength on the houses? What do you think? Or did I totally see this wrong? ;) Other than the dodging, this shot looks really good.
Well done.
Richard

I really like the shot. Nice perspective and great colours.
I also feel that it would be better without the poles. I tried to remove it and see how it look. Hope you like the workshop.

hi,

beautiful color range in the sky and the low clouds, a nice composition altogather, thanks for sharing, himadri

beautiful! actually i think the poles eccentuate the overall composition, linking together everything. i agree with Richard that it would be more dramatic to lighten up a little on the sidewalks....otherwise, i think it's a great shot.....yeah, sometimes we don't 'look' around us, all we do is chase for some faraway horizon, and we forget what is around us.

Beautiful and dramatic sky Thong. The light here is fantastic, especially how it makes the silhouettes.

Wow..wonderful image Thong. I always hate electrical poles that destroys my composition but here you have made something like an artwork. The formation of the clouds is superb and you have perfectly exposed it. Although some details on the side walk is lost but I think this is what you have intended. Thank you for sharing. I always love a sunset shot.

Hi Thong! Wow...Superb!!! The sky are excellence! The lamp post did help to present the dept / distants. very well done!

Wong

WOW! dramatic sky and wonderful sunrise! Magnificent job Thong. Well done!

wow. That is beautiful! Great clouds and lighting. I like the telephone pole there although the photo would be good wtihout too. Very nice job. JP

Cirrocumulus if i remember? I like the subtilitys in that picture... The division in 2 colors area in the clouds. The houses in front of the mountain at first second let me perplex. I was to say with a little push of contrast they could disapear totally... A reflex i have personally... but no... It's fun finally... Have the impression they emerge... like a small ghost village who appear progressively as the sun go down...
