I literally said 'Oh Goodness' out loud when I opened this page - what a stunning photo. Despite your useful note I still don't know how you do it. The soft and almost fuzzy feel yet such great detail and clarity.
Not to mention the wonderful colours, great composition and generally beautiful scene. I wish I could see this myself every day.

The vertical lines that shoot through the center of this image give everything an etheral feeling. As though God himself was looking at it. The exposure time was extremely well executed here. I truely love this photo. Thanks so much for sharing. :)

hi Gan, How dramatic from this scene you got here. Almost like dream land it's felt from the floating boat. from my last year trip to Penang & Butterworth are too rush. I wish i could stay for few day to take more photos there.

i see your photo are taken in raw, after convert to tiff / jpeg. is't how you still can keep the EXIF info? Thanks in advanced!

I'm sure it's all been said, but this is just great! I'm always surprised at how good a seemingly dark sky can look when captured with a long exposure at night, and this is no exception. The light on the boats and on the horizon just adds such a great atmosphere.

I like this!! Brilliant exposure of 30 secs. It has resulted in a fantastic texture on the water surface!
I like the rich cerulean blue colour captured in the sky. Horizon is slightly tilted but it's no big deal.

Wow man, this is one of the best photo that I've ever seen. REally the colour is soft with warm reflective colours of the sea surface blended with the lightings of the Butterworth industrial area. TFS

Hi Chin. Beeautiful evening waterview. The setting with all those boats is very good. The use of available lighting is excellent. Good to see the other side and Butterworth also known for the Airforce base i think? TFS. Murray.
